They recommend it for hotels and offices. It doesn't seem to be able to be used on acrylic aquariums yet. The FAQ says that may be coming soon, but their FAQ's haven't been updated since 2011. I could see getting one for my classroom so I don't have to worry about the glass over breaks if they came out with acrylic pads.
