Noid's 150

So this build may take awhile. But I''l try to keep up on it and post pics when I can. I'm sure some of you have seen me around in the fresh and salt water sections. So here's my story ;). This all started when my fish out grew my 55g. I have a Jurupari, Ghost knife, Upside down catfish, Striped raphael cat, Tiger Botia, Gold Nugget pleco, Albino Pleco, Flying fox, Albino tiger barb, Florida gar, and a Blue crawdad.

So I talked my girlfriend into the 150g. Well then we got her a Butterfly Koi for her tank. Yes I know they get 2 big for a tank and we have a long term plan for it.

Now we needed to upgrade her 30g as well. I found a pretty good deal on a 90g reef drilled w/stand top and lights and even a strange looking fish. All I have left on this build is a pump and filter.

Just received the plans from a friend on the 150 tank stand and will upload it next post since I'm out of pic space this one.

Not really sure how to turn this into pic format. But these are the plans for my stand View attachment 5319 . It will have a hidden door on each side for the filter(s). A finished cabinet in the front with arched windowed doors a mirrored back for lighting and a shelf for display. The frame will be made of 2x4 and 2x6. Wrapped with either popular for a rubbed black finish. Or in Knotty Pine with a clear finish. For now just the stand but do plan on adding a canopy later.

And here is the strange fish from the first post. View attachment 5323

So as it turns out the w/d filter I bought was really a sump oh well live and learn. So I busted out the top holding the sock glued in some holds to hold the grating and for the top. I have a custom top being made at Fort Collins plastics will be ready tomorrow drilled for 1" bulk head and a perforated drip tray. All in all was still a good buy because the total cost was less the buying a new w/d filter. All I need now is a pump and couple hoses to finish my girlfriends 90g. Then its time for the 150g I'm really excited for this upcoming build and have been learning alot from this group. [attachment=61080:name]
