Oops! Sixline went crazy...

#1
So I knew the chances were slim but I hate seeing the equipment on my tank (coords, skimmer etc) and so I took mylar and put it on the back of my tank. It looked GREAT but my sixline, Re-Pete, went ape. Within 5 minutes I had it gone and Re-Pete went on swimming briskly for a good 30 minutes. Thankfully, the lights went out soon after and he went to bed and is happy today.

So, lesson learned... wrasses don't mix with other wrasses of the same kind or their reflections.

Mine six line does that all the time, as it see's itself in the glass. Kinda of fun to watch...

That's pretty funny that they stare at themselves... Re-Pete the Sixline is 2 inches of fury. He's not aggressive but you can tell when he doesn't like something-- throws a fit by zipping around all huffy and flustered. I took the mirrored stuff down... so it's back to looking at HOBs and cords. I still may seek a dark blue background or something. The point of the mylar was to see the back side of the live rock-- a whole way of life is going on back there and I never get to see!
