Passport question

I just purchased my passport today. To anyone who has recently received theirs, how long of a wait did it take to get. We didn't expedite them. That was a quick $270 for the two of us.

I didn't "recently" get it, it's been a couple of years but mine took 3 weeks.

Mine took about 6 weeks, call the passport office and they will tell you. # should be on your paperwork

I had passpost made for my kids in Feb and it took like 1-2 weeks without expiditing them.

Wow I did mine a couple years ago and it took months! They must have expedited the process or not as many people getting theirs anymore. Where ya headed Jerry?

When I got mine they told me something stupid like 4-12 weeks (way to be accurate lol).... I got it in less then a month

Thanks for the replies. We are heading to Los Cabos in the beginning ofNovember. I am going to check with the post office on monday about getting my numbers. Well at least I didn't have to purchase my girls some passports, that would have been another $400.

Same day Mike. Are you flying frontier. I believe they are the only direct flight out there. We would rather do that than fly into Phoenix. This will be the first time going somewhere far without my girls. Going to be just friends this time. I tell you what, I would be more than happy to get my passport in a few days. I could book my flight right away.

No we are stoping in phoenix we got a great deal on tickets to the point I could not spend the extra. Plus we have 2 first timers with us so they wanted to save some money. But $350 each for tickets and $500 for a 3 bedroom house makes it less than $500 per person for a weeks vacation cant pass that up. You staying in cabo? You going to get a car? Maybe you could take a trip up the road 45 min. have lunch one day or ? We might do a day of Cabo but I dont like to go due to the fact I get asked to buy drugs about 50 times an hour....and I wish I was making that up

Where did you get your tickets at. For that much of a savings, I will have to rethink my flight pans. My buddy has a place called el dorado ?? Maybe end could head over for the day. Never ben there before, so don't know a lot about the area.

Expedia had them at that price like 2 weeks ago. Watch every day a few time a day and you can find deals

Woohoo, we got our passports today. Time to do some serious price shopping. I'm glad that didn.t take long at all.
