polyresin decorations for fish only

We have this ship that was from a old tank and the kids want it in. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4368179

it is made out of poly resin and has fabric sails. thoughts about this harming a fish only tank.

No idea, you could soak it in a bucket and see if it leaches anything. Isn't polyresin the stuff fake corals are made out of? If so, Jim would tell you to scrub it weekly.

Should be fine in a FOWLR, will likely build up algea and will need to be scrubbed as mentioned above. Polyresin is the same stuff the guys from ATM (the show Tanked) use to make their coral inserts.
