I've had a red ball sponge that died due to high nitrate levels, a couple of sea whips I acquired for free and a plethora of freshwater aquatic plants. I kill everything that's even remotely plant-like. I have terrible luck with things like that.

There are lots of low demanding corals that are easy to grow as long as they are provided the proper light, water quality and flow.

haaha I'll have to try that someday. but for now my plastic coral looks great!
