Razor maxspect nano 60 height placement

Quick noob question, I just got my razor light and was looking at the diagram provided by razor (attached)
is the distance referred to in the chart the distance from the light to the top of the water in the tank or is it referring to the distance from the light to the sand bed?

If I had to guess, sandbed would make the most sense.

My guess is its telling you the concentrations at both 12" and 24" from the light itself - not nec at fixed thing like sand bed or waterline.

Found it online after a lot of searching. It appears it's from the water line.

Oh man 800-1000 PAR at 12" under water is insane!!!! I really think its from the light itself to be honest........

I think CRW is correct. Here's my PAR with the 160w version:

Light 8" above water, reading from 8" below water is 425. I'm pretty sure it was over 1k right at the water surface, it's been awhile since I took those readings though.
