Jake - Ive been wondering how this turned out for you guys in the end. Hopefully clean-up ended up easier than you thought and the overall damage was less as well. Let me know if I can help with anything or if you need some zoas replaced as I know you had lots of those too.

I didn't see this the first time around. Adding myself to the thread if you need any help. My worst nightmare come true.

Chad, my wife worked for 10 days straight cleaning the house, it looks a lot better. The hardwood looks a lot better than the first day and it should get a lot better in the next couple month since it sucked all that water.
My new tank has been cycling for one month with live rock and live sand. On Friday I am going to buy couple zoas to see if the tank is ready or not. And on Monday hopefully the guys will bring the fish back and put them in there new home.
Obviously me and my wife are crazy enough to stay in the hobby.

Here are a few pics from the carnage that happened. When Jake said he wanted to get rid of the tank, I don't think this is what he had in mind ;) The new tank is absolutely beautiful, the fish survived, and now they are adjusting to life in their new home!

That makes my decision for me. When I upgrade my tank it will be acryllic. No ifs ands or buts.

Now that picture brings some bad memories. It's behind us now, moving on with the new build.

Oh my goodness!!! That's crazy. I'm sorry to hear you lost most of your corals. I'm sure after 4 years they were amazing.
