Ecoxotic stunner strips burn out very quickly even at dimmed to 75%. They are a waste of money. A better option for cheap strips are Current USA True lumen strips. I have yet to try reef brites mine are coming soon.

edit: nevermind, sorry. Haven't seen the lumi lite strips reefbrite makes...was thinking of their fixtures with 3W LEDs

I was just down at AA yesterday talking with Chris and we had this same exact conversation. I asked him what he thought of stunner strips and he said that they arent really as bright as reefbrite. He suggested another type that he likes better than reefbrites (prob cost more though). I cant recall the brand but he currently has these up with the new frag tank which is paired with t5's if you wanted to swing by and check them out.

I have a couple of stunner pros (the higher watt ones) and converter if you want to give them a try - I will never use them again.

Yep -- Cris recommended I get the BuildMyLED strips to add actinic blue to my MH setup. I balked at the price a bit and went with some very cheap Current USA ones.

I have a feeling that I'll get what I paid for and wind up with the BML ones eventually.

On another note, 400W X2 on my 150 XH looks phenomenal! Acclimating some new stuff right now with some fiberglass window screen.
