I volunteered one year and while I was not paid in the monetary sense. Jake made it well worth my while which it looks like has been offered here as well.

why does the community have to donate their time and not get paid? Sorry to ruffle feathers here but IMO if the community is willing to help out their time should be compensated.

volunteers would get free entrance to the show and possibly some other perks TBD by Jake and the reefstock team!!

Kris as Adam stated above, the entrance fee would be compensated along with other perks. The entrance fee will be $10 per person so that is a savings cost or compensation in itself. Now I don't actually know what "perks" actually means in this case, however I do know Jake has been more than fair in past events and prob will continue to do so.

The last thing is that no one was, or is expected to give any of their personal/un-paid time to donate, support or help anyone, anything, reef stock, reef ed or MASC. Those that do however know what they are doing and their participation, help, donations and support don't go unnoticed.

We'll get the specifics on this asap and post back on this thread. Sorry for the delay, I agree thats pretty important info we need to get considering free entry is one of the perks.
