Ok. So i got the Pinpoint Salinity Monitor 53.0 mS Calibration fluid from American Marine and im trying to calibrate my refractometer. I have a lot of questions.....
1. Does the refractometer need to be at a certain temperature before calibrating? If so what temp and how do you know a refractometers temperature?
2. Does the calibration fluid need to be at a certain temperature?
3. When zeroing out the refractometer w/ DI water, does this water need to be at a certain temperature?

pretty confused:confused:

when i purchased mine it said not to calibrate to 0 but to use the calibrating solution instead due to the fact that the DI water may have dissolved solids in it.
