How long do most people run there light on their fug?

I've been running mine 24hrs and my wife was wondering if I could shut it off with the other lights so I said I would ask

Yes. I run my light opposite of the display to help offset PH differences in my system.

Some run their fuge lights 24/7 so their macro does not go sexual. IMO DO NOT DO THIS!! Macros are a plant and they need their dark period in order to rest and grow. Running light over them 24/7 puts the plant into overdrive and does not allow them to rest and stunts their growth. As long as the system is providing nutrients (NO4, PO3) and ample light and you trim back your macro regularly you should not have to worry about macro going sexual.

Cool I have the same strip I think has 2 timers I'll start running them the same as my daytime lights

opposite here too, except since daylight savings..too damn lazy to switch the timer downstairs...

Hmmm... Maybe that's why my phosphates are climbing? I might have to try that as well!!
