Only requirement is that these have to be picked up today. If you can pick up in NW Denver they're yours....was hoping to save this rock for the dbtc meeting, but sadly that's not gonna happen.

OK 2nd requirement...read my rant.

The story:

I had a Coralife fixture go out on me under warranty, and they sent me a replacement. I had been running the fixture over my planted tank, so I put the replacement over that tank, and replaced the cheapo ballast in the Coralife fixture with a workhorse 5 to light my new 20 long build...which is currently housing a pair of ric yumas and some macro algae. Well...today I noticed that the replacement fixture, which I've had for maybe a month is now dead. What the $#&%!! I took the repaired fixture and out it over my planted tank to keep that livestock alive. So...the 20 long is pretty much lightless right now and I'm flying out of town tomorrow morning.

Here's a pic of them in my other tank under halides.

Someone please come get these...I'd hate to trade them in, but will if I can't get them gone tonight. I received these from Chad for dbtc...but have already fulfilled that rrwuirement of paying them back into the program. I'd rather keep that going than trade em for credit....

You wanna borrow my AquaUFO for a few days? I'm not using it currently!
I'd take you up on that, but just made a trip to Brighton earlier today, and have packing and a bunch of crap to get done before I hop on a plane in the morning.

Although after stopping to think things through I'm wondering if the rics would be just fine in the dark until getting a light over them by Wednesday if I picked that up from you then. Thoughts?

Just hang that led over the tank, hell just put it perpendicular to the long side and set it in top. Even if its just whites it will be fine. Or Heck just swap the drivers or whatever and just run blues. I have run 120w LEDs like that on random holding tanks a zillion times.

Yea I don't have enough hardware here to suspend them close enough to the tank... you think I can put it right on top and not have too much light? Was also slightly worried about running the fixture while I'm gone since the whites are flickering a little and I don't want to potentially damage anything. It's an option that I might go with though...

Ya check this out, this is the holding tank I have up right now after selling my biocube and being slow on my 20l. It's a 120w led and its a 10g.

Yea...sorry it's so last minute. If it doesn't go I'll see how it does without light for a few days and bring it to the dbtc meeting. ;) I can't bring myself to trade it in.

Ok...thanks Chad I'll just do that then. Thanks for putting an end to the panic, lol...I really wasn't ready for a curveball to be tossed my way today, and I trip out over making changes to my tanks just before leaving town. ;)

You can close this up...I'll probably be bringing it to the dbtc meeting.
