So I use a water general 6 stage rodi unit. I was wondering if the ro membranes and the sedimate and and carbon blocks are universal can I go through brs to get them or have to go through water general?

As long as the canisters on your unit are standard size, then yes.

You can get the the cloth and the carbon ones from lowes or home depot
