Router

I'm looking for a router to start tinkering with some acrylic fab. I've searched CL, emailed ALL people selling, no answer back. Before I head to HFT or drop a guap at the big box stores, I'd like to see if I can't borrow/buy someones first. I'm just wanting something that will work better than the dremel.
