Skimmer help please

My red sea max skimmer is not working, the pump is going but the air intake tube is not sucking air! Need advice right away.

Take the tube off and clean the venturi and the hose/tube. Sometimes you can blow air down them to unplug them.

Take a small drill bit to the Venturi make sure it's clear

Not familiar with that model but mine gets clogged from salt on occasion, I use a syringe and squirt hot ro water down the airline and it clears it right up.

I tried the blowing down the intake tube, no luck. Will tear everything apart in the morning but tonight I'll try the syringe first. Thanks all. I will report back

What is the venturi?

The nozzle piece that connects the air hose to your pump. Use a dental pick, or paper clip type "tool" to open up the hole in the air line connection.
