I also use a CA reactor with a Kalk stirrer.

I ran mine through ATO as described a few posts up. The articles Mark linked in the first post are great reads.

+1 on running it with a calcium reactor. It's a good combo.

Yes this is how I have been running it and everythings been going fine so far (~2weeks).

So I'm back from vacation and setting up the reactor. Few more questions. So I'm going to add two cups if pickling lime into reactor. How will I know when to refill it? Do I have to drain it or just add more powder?
