I'm needing some lunar lights for my 120 gallon, and I'm considering the 48" Ecoxotic blue stunner, but could that be overkill for a nice deep blue moonlight at night? I don't want it lit too much, just a calming blue glow that makes my corals pop but fish can sleep. This is an open top tank with a large 7 bulb Constellation T5 fixture on top, so there is not really much room for anything except a tube or strips. Strips could be a pain for me to DIY and end up costing the same as a tube with how many I might need to get coverage down the length of the tank.
I'm sort of also leaning toward a reefbrite since I could screw it right into my T5 fixture and it has brackets for angling the lights, but again, scared it's going to be too bright for late night.
Also, if anyone is selling anything used that might work, let me know. I used to have R2 Extreme moonlights on my old 90g that worked ok but not so much coverage.
