Tank crashed time to upgrade

So, I made a huge mistake. I recently moved and I didn't change the sand. Every time I have moved before, I changed the sand. Well, both of my tanks crashed. I lost most of my corals. Totally sucks but I am going to use this as an opportunity to upgrade my tank. I have plenty of room to add pretty much any size tank I want. I am already starting to plan an 8'x4' tank nut it will be about a year before I can afford that tank. In the time being, I want to put in a different tank. Looking for something as big as 6' wide by 3' deep. It can be smaller but want to go bigger than the 40 breeder. Let me know what you have. Thanks.

As Shawn just pointed out, we have a 300g system for sale that is 72"x36"x27". We still have almost everything you would need except for a skimmer. Stand, light, sump return pump, heater and temp controller. Everything is clean and ready to co to a new home. If you buy the tank, stand, and light, we will give you the sump and return pump free.

I saw that but a bit out of the price range I saw that one but a bit out of my price range at the moment. Hoping to keep it under $500 for tank/stand. May not be possible. Idk

Well, let me know the price. Lol. Maybe I am thinking too big. I know that my big tank will be super expensive. Was just hoping to get something bigger than the 40 for under $500. Not including lights and stuff. Just tank and stand

Mine is smaller and looking at $800 - but it is Starphire glass. Not sure it is appropriately priced, but I remember paying in the $2k range

Is that for tank and stand or just tank?

Just tank - the stand that I had it on was just to hold it because it was an in-wall build. I would be happy to help build you either a wood or steel stand, though if you pay for materials. Sump as well...

Ya, $500 is a pipe dream for anything but a really rough 210/300. With some craigslist hunting that may get you a fairly nice/decent 125 and stand. Or a pretty nice 75 bowfront or something, 60g cube, etc.

getting ready to tear down my 90 gal to move into my 120 its not reef ready but good solid tank and stand with hang on skimmer probably would sell for $250

thanks guys. I will follow up on Chansons tank. I am not very handy with resealing so don't want to risk that one.

I decided to save my money and just revamp the 40 breeder. I have plans brewing for a large tank sometime in the near future. I will do a build thread for it as I get closer. Basically though, the plan (for now) is to have an 8'x4'x30" peninsula tank. I figured I better start accumulating parts for that as opposed to buying a tank in between which will delay me getting the big tank going. Thanks for all of the input everyone.
