Thinking about trying my hand at a Chalice.

I was surfing coral pics and am now enamored with a Watermelon Taffy Chalice I saw, does anyone have a frag of it or something similar for sale? I'm running a 6 bulb t5 on a 90 gallon tank, so if you think I have enough light let me know!

I think you have enough light for some chalices. The light requirements baffle me; some like almost no light, some love all the light they can process. All I've ever had liked low flow though. This have been my observation anyways.

I am still drooling over that watermelon taffy chalice, I want one like a fat kid wants cake!!! I just can't afford the $60 + shipping the site I found wants for one, especially since I have never tried one before. I may in all reality, kill it

You have a pic of the one you want? I googled watermelon taffy and saw like 10 different chalices with that name.

I would be careful with aquacon! I have read bad reviews as well as a local guy saying they got him for almost $800. Most people say its right there in their name. I dont remember the story but after that I dont even look at their site. Maybe others will reply with any experiences they might have/heard.

I had one like that for a little while and then gave it away to salty samurai, hit him up for a chunk.

I have a gonzo laser beam chalice I might get rid of for the right trade.

I unfortunately do not have a lot for trade, I have all beginner coral, leathers and common Zoas.
