Those super-awesome Freshwater Corals

Got a call tonight from my CL ad about corals. The guy asked me if they are freshwater or just saltwater because he is looking for corals like mine that are for freshwater tanks. He sounded really bummed when I said they were salt....what? I admit, I giggled after I hung up. However, I'm a little afraid to post this as someone will say "oh, yeah, I have some of those", lol. Just when you think you know it all (or that's what I tell my kids at least).

I have a reall nice fresh water acropora. Its very rare and extremly hard to keep ,but ill cut you a deal 50 bucks

There are fresh water corals in lake Baikal in Russia.

Dang those Russians - I did kind of miss my chance I guess. I could have sold him some freshwater corals that flourished for a whole ten minutes. Actually, my son's freshy tank has a piece of plastic coral, shoulda sold him that and said it was super hard Plasticopora.

I've been looking at info for the lake, I saw the sponges and radical amphipods, but where's the coral?

If I am not mistaken the only coral you will find are ICE Coral.

LOL, the plasticopora is bred by Walmart and tolerates any light or flow conditions. It comes in various hideous colors but is subject to melting under intense light.
