I have a tunze wave box for sale. Works great. Rated for 75-300 gallon tanks. 300 gallons is pushing the limits of this box so I needed to go a different direction. It will splash a wave out of a 125. $250 non-member prize $200 member price.

No doubt. Where were you a few months ago when I made mine own? ...for anybody needing to address flow, these are very effective and I will never go back to flow pumps ever again.

Off topic, but on the bigger tank, if you are still looking for waves, just build your own and put 2 pumps in it. There was a 1200G in KC with 4 6100s in it looking fantastic with a nice 1.5" wave. I have been stockpiling 6200s for the new tank. :)

I know that this is not my thread, but I am seriously trying to help... When dealing with waveboxes, tank length and obstuctions (rock and coral) are the main factor. 4' tanks don't make as big of waves as 6' tanks (or even 8). I have one in my 4' 120' and it makes a really nice 1.5" wave for my SPS. Not only does the coral do better IME, the sand does not blow around. This also gets behind and in-between the rocks. This unit should be absolutely fine for a 75G tank. If you want to see a wavebox on a 4' tank, then let me know and you can swing by.

I would have seriously bought this already, but I just went through the exercise of acquiring stuff to make my own since they rarely are available used - most people who have them will never let them go. FWIW, it cost more for me to make one than what this one costs.

I have a 65 not RR but I do have a glass-holes 1500( needs a bulkhead but I have one that would need to be cut), I also have a genx mak 4 or Iwaki 55, plus a Red Sea Berlin HOB (no pump). The 65 is like new it was used for fresh a few years ago drained and put on a shelf. Let me know if we could work something out.

Need a cube? I'd trade just to hold on to it untill I was able to afford a larger tank!! Hopefully not to far since I just got a much better job! 9g with panorama pros, 12g stock and a controller I have up for sell? If not no problem just worth a shot ;) willing to throw in some cash.

At this point I don't think I could use the tank thank you though.

depends on the tank size BryanF, but im sure anything less than a 125 it would provide plenty of flow and circulation. over 150 u might want to think about a circulation as well

Would this wave box be enough flow by itself or would you still need circulation pumps like a Koralia?
You would need another power head or 2 what the wave box does is create movement with little flow. It will keep the detritus suspended and youll need flow to move it.

Ok thanks guys. Thought maybe something like this could replace all the other circulation pumps cluttering my 125!
