Vinyl tubing...cheap and local?

Anyplace to get 3/4" ID tubing for fairly cheap? I'd like to pick up about 20ft for water changes...but the local hardware stores all charge almost $2 per foot at that size, and I'm not paying almost $50 to make water changes slightly more convenient. :p

I saw it online at foster/smith for about $25 shipped for 20ft...so I'm hoping to find someplace close to home that has more reasonable prices per foot. Any chance of that happening, or should I just order from them and have it shipped?

I guess I hadn't really considered the fact that standard garden hoses are probably pretty close to a 3/4" ID. It needs to attach to a barb fitting at the back of the tank so that I can just open up a ball valve to pump water out when I do a change. I may see if I have an old hose laying around and give that a shot.

+1 on the garden hose. i use one compared to a vinyl tubing and i swear, that hose makes the water come out faster than any tubing ive seen of equal and even some larger size. Think walmart had "Summer Specials" going on or some **** with hoses for the summer. 25ft hoses were like 15 bucks i think?

Perfect! Thank you both for the input. I'll put on a disguise and sneak into Wally World after work today. :p

usplastics.com, and go to the homepages of the sites that list vinyl tubing on amazon.com - that's how i found the best prices.

i decided not to use garden hoses (RV or otherwise) due to the issue with saltwater contact on metal. maybe some people aren't as worried about that.
