anyone on here would be interested in going on a get together in the mountains to go shooting. (given if we can find ammo these days haha)

Pretty much iv never met many ppl on here in person and would like to do so ..so im more then likely going to aquamart meeting as well, however thought this would be kind of fun idea for those of us interested in firearms. probably a long shot but hey! worth a shot

i have 8 firearms i can bring up there and it would be cool to shoot some new things for me and im sure other ppl. we could call it B.Y.O.F. day lol:nod:

but if u think it might be a cool idea you should post on here and if theres enough ppl we could all set up a day and such when it wont be to cold.!

i am interested in going, i have plenty of fun guns. i think the mountains are going to be very cold, i am a member at a range near greely. its $15 they have up to 300 yard rifle range, 2 pistol ranges, and probably 50 skeet trap and sporting clay locations.

I would love to go. The only problem is that recently the national forests have banned shooting in most areas for a number of reasons. I know of 2 free ranges in colorado. One is in summit county and the other is out by salida. The one in salida is amazing. It has a rifle range up to 1000 YARDS!!! Not that I can hit anything at a quarter that distance... It also has a range designated for trap if you have your own thrower and a couple of pistol/rimfire ranges. I'd love to go, and would be able to bring 4 or 5 firearms.

Not yet. I haven't decided if I do carry if I would be carrying my preferred Spingfield XD 9mm or get something esle more compact. I think the Springfield I currently have would be too cumbersome especially with a full 17 round clip.
