wheres the cheap salt?

Are there any good deals on salt here in denver/longmont/boulder/foco?

I'm going to try calling up the LFS's around here and ask them if they'll give me a deal on some salt for 600+ gallons. I'm going to need a LOT more than just salt, i dont even have corals or fish yet!

I have eight 200 gallons boxes of Reef Crystals. $42/box. I changed brands, and have these left over. They are great, each box has four individual 50 gallon bags....

not sure how old those are but make sure you mix them well if they are old ....a guy one scmas just crashed his tank not to long ago using old salt (super high mg) the bags shouldn't be as big of an issue ...i would still mix them ....it is a good price

I would go talk to Mark Sherman at About Fish. He always has the best deals. I know his rodi is only 25cents a gallon. I bought the big bucket of salinity a couple weeks ago for only 79.99

Hello, and welcome! That $42/box is probably the best deal you are going to find.
Thanks, I'm starting to think you're right.
