I've decided to drill my tank and start a refugium. I'm looking for a return pump that can be either submerge or run external (ie. mag drive 5 or quiet one 3000). around 300g/h at 4' height. I have corals I can trade or cash.
I've got an 960GPH @ 4 feet of head Japanese motored Iwaki 3 return pump that I'd trade for corals or cash, depend on what you've got available. Worked great on my 42 gallon through 4 1" returns.
I think that would be too big for my 28g. plus I'm not sure if I'm going submerged or external yet. really depend on how big I'm building the fuge. that's why I want a pump that can be submerged or run externally.
