WTB: Reef Keeper Lite

#4
Got a RK2, with PH probe (brand new), 6 plug outlet, and temp control. I have the plug that also connects to your computer from there old style connection. I never got my other system up and going. It's brand new. I would like $250 for it, includes everything.

RK2 is the older model before Reek Keeper Elite came out. Right now if you're looking for a controller from Digital Aqautics your options are Reef Keeper Lite or Reef Keeper Elite. The RK2 is somewhat older technology but for something more than just your BASIC controls it's a solid controller.

If you never plan to need more than the RKL can do and only want a simple interface with simplistic screen then really no need to get anything more. But if you ever "Think" you may want some of the more advanced controls and a pretty neat interface/screen then you'll want to invest in the RKE.

Now if you want to move up to the "I can control everything in my tank, my house and my NEIGHBORHOOD" type of controller look into a GHL ProfiLux system. :)

I think he means RKE v2. It has a larger display and can control more modules simular to the Apex. The comparison is the same as the Apex and the old AquaController Jr. However now the new Apex Jr. comes with network and 4 power plugs in an integrated unit, but without a display. If you are only looking for temp, pump, and lighting controls and you have a smart phone then the new Apex Jr. is a great starter until that can be controlled from your phone with room to grow if you purchase the PM1 module and more power modules.
