IMO it doesnt matter ....we want to see 0 and thats pretty easy to determine on most kits ...when it get above zero though with nitrates for example some are harder to read than others
i use api for those and like i mentioned to you i would just get one of those stick on ammonia testers for the cycle
I use Salifert but a friend bought all the new Red Sea kits. I was impressed on the quality of everything. We did side by side comparisons and I honestly liked the Red Sea kits better for PO4 and NO3. Salifert was better for the Calc (IMO)
Thanks for the notes about the new Red Sea kits. I have heard some really good things and you don't have to buy new kits when they run out, just refills.
