WTT My Idaho Grape Chalice

I'd like to trade my monti for some zoas and a chalice just a frag or cash the one I have is on a magnetic plug so you can put it on your overflow or wall and it won't take up good rock space.

I will get dimensions tomorrow when the lights come on.

I have it on the glass in my 50 it doesn't really take up much room when you can place it up on the glass.

This is an Awesome piece, and so cool that you can mount it on the glass not taking up any area on your rocks.

When I bought it it was a little smaller but the frag was glued to a magnetic plug.

That is a great idea. Might head to homedepot and get some magnets. Would love to do that with a couple diff monti in the new tank.

You can buy plated ones on eBay or just coat them in silicone then mold you putty or plug material around it.

I'm going to try a chalice next to see how it comes out!

I think I would still seal a plated one just to be safe.

I'm actually messing around with this right now. Trying ceramic magnets initially as they are cheap. Not sure they will hold up, depends on the glass thickness. Coated them with 3 layers of tool dip rubber spray and then 2 layers of silicone. I'll give some to Travis next time I see him so he can try them out since he trades with everyone more than I do.
