I myself would consider "Infinite Abyss" a psuedo-retailer. I have found him selling on at least 7 other marine forums. In different states. I suppose a "fellow reefer" could do the same...but I feel like this is intruding on the local vendors more so than our "local fellow reefers" selling their stuff. If I wanted to buy, sell or trade with people outside of Colorado I would go on a national forum or go to their internet website.
Maybe I am just being picky or I am just tired of the recent telemarketing text messages I have been getting or maybe....
Am I way off on this?

NOPE! I 100% agree with you Mike. If your looking to buy out of state than you should seek r2r or reefcentral etc etc. Support our local venders!

While I agree that it isn't the best to order online, sometimes you need to in order to get some new "blood" into the state. However, best thing to do here is just not post and not order the corals.
