So I have been staring at my tank for hours tonight and I thought to myself out loud what is my favorite fish. At first I said Achilles tang and then I said no the cleaner wrasse.
I love the Achilles because it is very clean and simple yet stunningly beautiful. However the cleaner is lighting blue and fast and he is all over the tank. Just seeing what other people's opinions are on there favorites.

Toss up between mandarin goby and starry blenny. The mandarin is the coolest looking fish there is, but the starry has the best personality and its color changing is fun to watch.

I respect what you say but personality has to go to naso tangs they by far are everyone's friend and remind me of a basset hound.

Juvenile Emperor Angelfish - my last tank had one and they are just beautiful.

Volitan Lionfish - look badass and well, they are.

Depends on what someone personally likes best in fish personality. If you're into chill friendly fish, Naso has an edge. For entertainment value, starry has the edge. Starry are hilarious to watch when they clean up algae and get along with even the most aggressive fish.

I'm not one to pick favorites really but I do love Jawfish and gobies. Love watching them dig around in the sand, and their shy natures make them ones that you have to spend a bit of time to see

Man, tough question. Top 3:
Moorish Idol - regal and beautiful
Great White Shark - yep, still a fish!
Moray Dragon Eel - just awesome

Those are just 3 off the top of my head.

I had a blue spot and no matter what I did I couldn't keep him in the tank. He always found a way to get into the overflow then down to the sump. One day he finally jumped out of the sump before we knew it was missing and met its demise.

Pearlys are awesome. I am planning to put a group of them in my big tank. They are the only jawfish that is social. In the wild they tend to live in small social groups, where as all other jawfish are pretty much solitary.
