It'll still be a little tight, but not nearly as bad as it would have been if I had it under the stand. It's not a huge closet and has the sloped ceiling from the stairs. But I will gladly make it work!
I spent some time this weekend trimming out the hole in the wall. I didn't get to paint the rest of the stand because the weather didn't cooperate today. So I will try to get a coat or two on tomorrow after work.

KChristensen, I just thought I'd share my similar "expansive" Fish room aka Hobbit Hole, its a bit tight and i hit my head but all that was left over in our basement I put a clothes washer drain in and its nice and convenient when making RO water (wish there was as sink)! Its still in the works, need to get my doser lines cleaned up and clean up some of the wiring and such but.... work in progress (and have to get my tank down stairs). I'll be watching to see what you can do with yours, and what I can copy

@sadams shoutout to the vented server rack tray!
Any room, no matter the size that is dedicated to fish stuffs is worth its weight in gold! Maybe I am just a hoarder, but under my tank is not enough space haha

I finally had some time to start working on my sump today. I finished getting it cleaned up, got the brace removed from the center so that my skimmer will have room. Got it resealed and got the baffel in that will separate my ATO reservoir. Hoping to get one or two more baffels in after work everyday this week, so that hopefully I can start on the display next weekend.

Well, I have finally finished up the sump. All baffels are in, and I have most of the equipment test fit in there. This was the hard part. The display is next and is pretty clean, so getting it cleaned up should go relatively fast. I just have to find a way to get it into the house. Then on to plumbing. The scape, and getting this thing wet!
looks good, although you might want to consider adding a piece of plastic or something to protect the drywall in that back corner. Otherwise it will be salt covered in no time I think

Somewhere in my build thread is a pic of how I lined my walls with painters tarps and a staple gun. Slightly ghetto but HIGHLY recommend for saving your drywall.
I know I am king tarp over here lol but are you going to put some kind of water barrier under the sump?
I'm needing a favor... Are there any Loveland guys around this weekend or early next week that could help me move my 180 into my house? It's heavy but 2-3 of us could definitely move it I think.

I've got 2 guys coming by on Sunday morning at 10. That should be enough since we don't have to go far, but if you wanted to come by just in case it's up to you. It should only take about 10 minutes and it'll be done.
Thank you @JuanGutz & @Dr.DiSilicate for helping me move my tank in the house this morning! I spent some time getting it cleaned up today. I have some of the plumbing ordered and on the way. Hoping to get most of it plumbed next weekend. Going to spend my evenings this week trying to get the rockscape figured out and the sand in. Hopefully I will have this wet next week sometime.
