Looks great Mike! Where did you get the clowns from? They look happy and healthy. I’m still wanting to do a bunch in my reef.

Those were shipped directly to school from Proaquatix. They are getting along nicely even with the older two. We are actually anticipating another group from Sea and Reef.

I moved it back to the classroom and put it in an acclimation box. It squeezed out of the box and half was pretty much dead and the other half was in the sand bed with some tentacles extended. We will see but I think it’s a goner.

The clowns are pretty sweet and more are coming Wednesday!

Mural is out of town, so I guess I can sub in.

Yes! Sea and Reef sent 20 clowns and 2 orchid dottybacks. Everything arrived yesterday! And they all look great!

We did have one clownfish loss, which puts our total clowns in the tank at 45. Which means Mike had to admit I was right.

Still working on filling it with nems, and the nems in there are still working on finding their favorite spots. But it’s looking great and has been a hit with staff. Kids come back in the building on Monday.

How was the ammonia spike with the new bio-load? Are you running the skimmer 24h?
Skimmer runs 24 hours.

But no ammonia spike - this rock is 15ish years established in this tank (before the move). And the rock was used for a bio load around this level. Haven’t had any issues other than being unable to scrape algae off the back wall - which is visible through the window.
