I recently started publishing videos on youtube of my tank. For now I am doing a weekly 1hr video of the reef. No talking just set the camera to watch the tank for an hour. I find it very soothing and relaxing to watch, and have kind of been setting the videos as a screensaver so to speak.

Feel free to check them out. I have 2 of these up so far and will add a different view each week.

Would love to see some other people do the same so we can just sit and watch a bit of each others reef views.
Either way let me know what you think.

The newest member of the tank community has decided he is above the rules and has been nipping at corals, so I need to evict him and relocate him to the mangrove tank. So of course I had to record the chase and apprehension of the suspect. Will I catch him? You'll have to watch and find out

Found my old GoPro, complete with underwater housing. So this calls for an underwater video of the clowns in the back of the tank

This is awesome, Angel. I think even with all the super fancy high end livestock we have these days, having some clowns and an anemone is still about the coolest thing to watch in a reef tank. I could stare at them all day... lol.

Me too! Just wish these guys were closer to the front of the tank, but Glad I could finally get a decent video of them doing their thing. Might have to do another sometime when they lay a clutch of eggs

Technically that rock could move, although not with out a fair amount of fuss. Most of my rock is cemented together so making it a new spot would be a bit of an ordeal.
Plus, that nem has wandered a lot in this tank and has for years. Only within the last year or so has it decided it found a spot it could be happy. So I would be reluctant to move it, for fear it would make him start wandering again.

Gotcha. Makes sense.

I am debating putting the BTAs / pink skunk clowns I have into my new 120, for exactly the reason you mention - wandering BTAs are no fun when you have corals they sting, plus powerheads they might mince themselves on. I've had some luck getting them to stay on a rock tower type thing, and then pulling off any that split/wander away. Seems they like to wander when I'm away from the tank on vacation the most...

Ya, I only ended up putting this particular BTA in this tank because it had never wandered at all in my 75g, and it had never split either. So I was hopeful it would just stay where I originally put it, but it didnt like being messed with apparently. Luckily I don't have power heads to worry about really but wished it would have picked any other rock besides the euphillya rock lol
