Finally got around to doing this. Took about 4-5 hours to do that bucket worth of DI, but now I have 2x 2.5g buckets of each type of resin, plus one big bag of mixed bed. It likely will go much faster next time though, now that I have it all setup and resin separated. I need to get 2 more 2g...

Need to replace bearings and seals on my main return pump but just realized I don't have a backup for that pump. I have backups for my hammerhead on the closed loop, but not my snapper/dart. Does anyone have a used one laying around they'd sell?

Ya if this is an acrylic tank then make a run to Plasticare, or other acrylic shop near you and get some weldon 4 along with an applicator. Although if its glass then it a different story as glass can't be repaired like that and would need to be completely broken down and reassembled to fix it

Ya its best to put this on a dosing pump or just add kalk to your top off water. I ran it in my ATO for many years on my 75g and it worked great that way
