10 Foot Freebie!

So we’ve had yet another issue with the 10 foot tank at school. It leaked after the custodian cleaned the floor. So it leaks at one of the overflows for sure but not sure where else. We will be giving away the live rock, the sand, the stand, the display that is a 10 monster, the sump which is 240 gallons. The livestock will be moved to other tanks and all other equipment will be repurposed on other tanks. We would like to have this done promptly and will be shooting to have it down and gone 8/13. Pics to come.

Acrylic and the outside will need some TLC but I have all the buffing compound you can have too. Just want to part ways with it at this point.

Sump is pending as is the live rock. We are looking to break down on Saturday and will likely be moving the tank outside until we get a taker. If we can move it!

So Monday we will be moving it outside the tank is still available but the sump is pending pickup. The rock was spoken for but is back up for grabs it is now drying in the sun outside the school. Let me know if anyone is interested before it becomes dumpster fodder.

If the tank does not disappear soon, see if there are any freshwater forums in Denver. I don't know of any but those folks are always looking for larger tanks for their Oscars, Pacu and Arrowana and stuff.

All, this tank is not that heavy. I moved it by myself many times and Mike and I moved it into his truck with just the two of us. When I got it, myself and one other guy got it up from his basement with a hand truck and into my truck.

It is not like 10 pounds, or anything, but it is not glass.

240 gallon sump was picked up yesterday. There are still the three 29 gallon tanks and the 560 for now.

Pretty sure it’s about 3/4” maybe 1”.
