I am selling my 150 48x24x30. It has a single overflow which gives it more space on the inside. That stand and canopy I built myself for it. I cut all the veneers and made the handles. They both are made out of walnut and horizontally book matched. The stand is in great shape, but I rushed the canopy and didn't get enough coats on the interior, do the doors are a little warped. It comes with a 30 gallon oceanic reef ready sump, all the plumbing, and an ehiem 1260 return. I will throw in some LR if someone decides to buy it. I would like to get 600 for it but am somewhat negotiable.

Yeah. I was sick of standard stands that make it so difficult to access your sump. It's got doors on all sides so it's really easy to work on.

Thanks. To be honest though if it doesn't sell I'll probably end up painting it black and taking it to my LFS and see if they could sell it.

NOOOO...I can't imagine why it would sell faster being black?!? It's a beautiful custom piece. If you had it for sale this past summer when I was tank shopping, I would've hit you up! :)
My logic is that it takes a certain taste to want something with this much grain and stuff "going on". I feel that, painted, it would appeal to a much larger base and have a very modern look to it. I absolutely don't want to paint but my drive to sell is higher than my drive to keep the woodwork alive. And, besides, I am already planning my next one that will be built to a similar style :).

I guess that makes sense for you as a seller...sad for me to see. ;( If it were a 90, I might have considered it for the bedroom. ;) Too much weight and maintenance for the top floor of the house. GLWS!

Ha, thought that was formica or something. Didn't really fit your style though. What kind of grain is that?
Ha. It's real wood, it's walnut. But hand picked the slab and chose a highly figured piece with lots of curly grains.

Just think there has been a ton of tanks for sale the last six months or so. Think dang near everyone on here has a new used tank by now. Id jump all over it if I had the room and the cash.
