I loved the t5 supplement but unfortunately they are not working already and I can't figure out what was wrong. The colors were fiji purple and true actinic which are in the spectral range that AI's don't reproduce. They added a bit of pink to the tank which made the tank not look so blue, I really liked the look. Now to figure out what is the problem with them.

Quick update. Tank continues to thrive although a bit of an algae issue. Most of these corals are from Aquatic Art.

Mp40 versus starfish.

I love them but I did add three ati t5 s for supplementation. I turn them on for about 6 hours and my ais are on a 12 hour schedule. Works really good. Im using 300 watts of energy but probably getting close to the light equivalency of 2x400 watt mh's.

Long overdue update. I took out all the rock and boiled it to kill off all remaining bryopsis and now the tank is essentially algae free and kicking butt again. I took some advice from Kris Capp at aquatic arts and started dosing red seas no3-po; reducer which took care of any remaining cyano issues. For the first time in months my tank literally has no algae or cyano or anything, nice white clean sandbed. Ive started to add acros back to replace the ones I lost during the bryopsis outbreak.
