Calibration Fluid?

Can I persuade anyone in the Highlands Ranch area to give me a few drops of refractometer calibration fluid? I'm trying to confirm that my RHF DIY fluid is correct (I suspect that it is reading high).

Are you using a digital scale for DIY? I've found with a scale its dead nuts on, teaspoons and all that, not so much.

I don't have a digital scale. I went back to the article today to mix up a new reference batch and found the disclaimers about the 2-liter bottle sizes...hmmm, better to just do it with an off-the-shelf product if possible. Bonus, I can then use the calibrated unit to confirm that my DIY mix is on target as well.

FYI...my refrac was calibrated with DIY last year. I checked it today with the same solution and the solution is now reading 40 ppt. Hmmm, so I pulled out my back up swing-arm hydrometers and neither of those came close to matching.
