Alright, CL has officially annoyed me today...
So i was looking for a new tank and thought id glance on CL and what, I cant believe the amount of people asking UNHEARD of prices for their setup. I wont bash specific posts... but just as an example, theres a glass tank thats 59x13x15 for sale, no stand, has 2 year old bulbs overtop of freshwater, and comes with gravel and decor inside aquarium, fish are not included. This person is asking 1000 for the setup and writes that "the tank alone is worth 1400." As a reefer, im sure we all know tank pricing and what not so i wont go there, but im just baffled at what people are asking for their setup that most probably had bought used anyway from someone else on CL. MASC is indisputably the best place to buy/sell/trade within the aquarium world, no doubt... I just cant believe what some people are asking for tanks, let alone a "full setup" when it doesnt have a canopy or stand... :doh:
