I am up on letting the winner of the auction decide. I have a black stand that sticks out in my space and have considered painting it to something that would match better.

Thank you for all the ideas but we are moving forward with what we have. Pidge has black/white. We thought it would be cool to put it up for vote to let everyone particapate in some way. So please lets stay on topic for what we have and move forward if you have an idea for something before hand please let me know.

I thought pidge was gonna spray it?

Leaving bare to finish later would be great. Then if the buyer wanted something completely different, they could just buy the paint and get it professionally sprayed for free.

Pidge (Ryan) is going to spray it. He has the stuff and we decided to paint to keep the cost and time down.

Aaron I know Ryan would love your help with some part of the painting or supplies, I would pm him.

I and Craig are hoping to get the stand and canopy done this next week so I can take it to Ryan.

Actually, I just saw your post, lol. Another reason for paint along with the other reason is that not all the wood being donated matches completely.

Personally I think the white looks really sharp but most peeps buy black. My got would be black. I can paint it whatever color somebody would want so long as it is either a lacquer or an oil based. Latex paints won't spray out of my HVLP guns.

Gotta say, that after seeing the stand and canopy, I think white would be the better choice. With all the crown molding and raised panels I feel white would make it look very classy. Black would look good but white would give it the classic victorian look.
