My brother has a huge Kenya tree, that he killed several times. It just keeps coming back. He torched it broke off the area where it was connected to, I believe he left the rock out for a week or so which kept it away for several months then one day boom a month later it's the size of a volleyball, no lie. He finally just admired how badly this coral wants to live and now leaves it be.

I can't stand the stuff. I had it in my last tank about 5 years ago, and it was like a weed. I gave a frag to my neighbor, and since then, her tank has turned into a tank that is covered with them. She recently asked for my help to make her tank look like mine, and the first thing I did was rip out 100+ kenya's (and it's only a 16 gal tank).

Lori had a good method of fragging such corals like Xenia and other softies. She sticks a toothpick through the base, far up enough that it doesn't slipt through the bottom, and rubber band it to a plug or shell.
