What's the dif between Gen 2 pro and standard Gen 3? I thought there was just Gen 1-3, and now I see there are pro 2 and 3. They sure don't make this easy to research. I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't interested.

The difference between pro vs non pro is more LEDs and more colors. So more of a "full spectrum" if you will. The Gen3 is a slightly newer design with a different looking fan and buttons and uses the new latest and greatest in led technology but as far as I now the number of LEDs and basic colors of the LEDs are still the same between the g2/g2pro and g3/g3pro. I have not see a G3 in person yet so that about all I know.

For me I have not see any added growth with the pro over the non pro just better color rendering IMO.
