Does anyone feed their torch corals? My gold torch is turning white! I am concerned. It is in the same place in the tank since I bought it at least 6 months ago. No change in lights.
Everything else is thriving, fish, corals etc. Please let me know.

Not kidding, the logic is that if is dying maybe one of the heads will live, but if they are all bleaching odds are against it. Frogspawns are very difficult to bring back from trauma or bleaching.

I had a large torch coral a couple years ago and over night it died off. Wicked is right, as the day before the whole thing died one head looked sick.

Also check your parameters. In my tank certain corals show when the parameters are less than acceptable. dkh, ca etc........

I will have the water checked for everything on Tuesday, will do.
Lights are T5, only 7 month old? too old? Other corals thriving.

T5's not sure when to change them. I do spot feed all my corals with a few different foods. What i have always had luck with most lps is coral frenzy.

Thanks, I did a large water change today and have tried to spot feed and it (gold torch) looks a bit better. Also have started feeding phytoplankton.(Reefuel)
Will let you know the results. Thanks again for the advice.

For the Euphyllia I have found it is not STN but an infection (brown slime?) and they will be shriveled and looking like they are 'rotting'. I have not had them go white (lose color) unless the lights are old or too strong even.
Typically I'll put in a couple of drops (be careful!) of Lugol's for my LPS when they don't look good. Vitachem or vitamin C probably wouldn't hurt anything either.
Pics would help greatly.
