I am an icefishing junky. I dream about this time every year and my wife barely tolerates it thoguh she will go if I beg enough. To hard to get the big hut and everything out of the truck by myself. Once I get back from vacation in Jan I planm on hiting every weekend till the ice melts down here and don't even mind afew trips up to the mountains. You ever want to meet somewere or even carpool to some place let me know.

For sure. I usally go for big macs and eyes and perch down here. People are hitting aurora and chatty already. Cant wait till the fork freezes. SOld my snowmobiles last summer, super bummed. I quit bringing the hut and just invested in good cold weather gear. Last year at Jefferson, it was -10 with 40mph wind on top of ti but worth it! Lost a laker at the hole at the fork last year, easy 35lbs. What do you like to fish for?

LOL. I;ve been known to scream like Jamie when I get a good fish. Also known to throw temper trantrums when I lose a fish of a lifetime.

I go for pretty much everything depending on my mood. Have a snowmobile just need to get it running as it is old old and needs more time then I have to fix it right now. I used to go hutless but my wife wouldn't go without and now I am spoiled. Jamie you can go with me anytime you want.

Warm clothes and some gas money maybe. Depends on what you want to catch. Looks like the next day I have open is Jan 7. Heck we could even make a MASC ice fishing trip if people are interested as an unofficial event.

Damn guys let me know when you head up for ice fishing. I have an ice auger, just need to get a new gas cap for it and it should start right up.

Im down anytime, especilly to teach someone that doesnt know, about ice fishing. I've got an older snowmobile that doesnt run right now, but wouldnt take it to jefferson with someone else with a sled. I've got 3 or 4 poles for light fish (walleye, perch crappie) and 2 for large lakers. I dont really partake in rainbow trout fishing. But either way. I hot loveland and boyd a fair amount, depending on ice. I've got a couple jet sleds, gas auger, hand auger, 2 sets of electronics, couple chairs, etc. Most people that go with me just need their own cold weather clothes and a license.

I would be up for an adventure if someone has poles and stuff I could use, never done it. I have a 4-wheeler that may be of good use.
