as for corals i want easy to moderate care. im new to reefing. my brother on the other hand has been reefing for 10+ years. he is looking to maybe moving to denver and wants to see what thhe area has to offer. we've been to all the LFS and went to reeffest (which was awesome) now we want to see what people have set up in their homes

Yep go see Colin he is close to you and has an awesome collection of corals! Other than that I would highly recommend aquatic arts although it is pretty far south they have a fantastic store and knowledgeable help!

I would also suggest Elite reef on 88th and Wads for some of the really hardy starter corals.

For an in home tank I would go see Craig (Craigar), he probably has one of if not the bst DT in the state. For local vendors I would hit Colin (Mind Blowing Corals) in Westminster / Broomfield, Mike (The Coral Shop) in Aurora and Josh (Gonzos) in Ft Collins. if you made this circle you could also hit the hot local fish stores as well, Aquamart, Elite Reef, Catfish Charlies, Great White, ect!
