Lost my Yellow Eye Kole Tang

#1
So, I fed my fish a couple nights ago and my Kole was out, eating, and seemed great. I have had him in my DT for about 2 months after two weeks in the QT. No problems at all and seemed really happy. Next night I went to feed the tank and he was nowhere to be found......thought maybe he carpet surfed, but never had a fish do that before and it would have been difficult. Anyway, he surfaced last night and was dead.....looked like he had been for over a day. Anyway, parameters are good, no problems with any of the other fish or the corals. Any idea what could do him in so quickly?

Hard to say. What other fish/inverts are in the tank? My first guess is something internal...parasites possibly. My GF had a powder blue tang that was great for a few months, ate like crazy... all looked and seemed good. Then one morning poof....it was dead. We have no ideas either, based on outward appearances it was fine. Sorry for your loss. That sucks.
