My entry into the aquascaping contest. It's a good thing corals don't count in this one, because mine have a long way to grow.
I used great stuff foam to build a rock wall in the back, sturdified with eggcrate that was cut to fit. Some small ledges were randomly zip tied to it prior to being foamed in place. Then the whole thing was schmeared with silicone, and 3 types of sand were applied to get a more natural look. I was least thrilled with the sugar fine sand, because it didn't cover doodly. I'm hoping the coralline grows fast to encrust it. Then a 3-way arch was built on the right side, to include a big 'Goby Condo Pod' at the base, and a large cave was built on the left hand side. I originally planned to use Marco Rocks concrete stuff to solid up the whole thing, but it truly wasn't necessary. It's so solid without it that I'm comfortable leaving it as is.
