Marine LED patent?

Sounds like LEDs could go away. Couldn't the companies (AI, ecotech, etc.) use the improvement argument to fight this?

This ws back from 2009 and PFO lighting was lost due to the lawsuit. However, many. many others have come in to fill the void. I'm not sure what happened to that lawsuit, but I doubt that we would be seeing the volume of LED lighting that we have today if it had ultimately been a threat.

There are so many bogus patents out there like this. The whole patent process needs a serious overhaul. They grant almost any patent and its not really reviewed until someone argues against it.
