What look are you going for? More blue? More yellow? More fluorescence? More growth? I'm assuming you want a middle ground given the 14000K option.

I like Radium 20000K, but that's not a choice given. I thought my old Hamilton 14000K looked kinda white. I thought my Radium 20000K was perfect for my tastes.

Besides that, I like whatever gives the best results by following Sanjays results, http://www.manhattanreefs.com/lighting

Double ended 14k, Was thinking Phoenix or Hamilton based on friends opinions but will lean towards the forum.

If Phoenix has a 150 watt I'd go that way. Good color and longevity as well as price.

Same as the rest. Phoenix 150w is a good bulb. I later upgrated to 250w, had Phoenix 250 14k's. Later switched to Ushio 20K, XM 20k, and not back to phoenix 14k, and like the phoenix the best.
